Here's another full manga translation.
Published between 1999 and 2001, Slayers Special is an adaptation of several short stories writteb by Hajime Kanzaka (plus original stories of its own). The title should feel familiar to some of you as I've translated the first two collections of those short stories (and some of those short stories are in this manga!)
At the end of the chapters that are adapted from short stories there's a note to describe from what its adapted from, some of the short stories here were in turn adapted in the Slayers Special (aka Slayers: The Book of Spells) and Slayers Excellent OVAs.
Similar to Slayers Premium which I posted a while ago, this manga also got an official English translation over two decades ago. This retranslation is mostly to release this in high quality and in a more consistent version (the first two versions of the official english release were altered to be read right to left and the images were cropped).
It's a fun run of 28 chapters. The entire thing is out in MangaDex for you to read.
